They are like 'Ying and Yang.' Both work in harmony to make sure Akai is protected and taken care of.

- Main Sub Weapon: Lucky Blue Four-Leaf Clover Flute - She uses her songs to sleep, confuse or cause pain in her opponent's ears.
- Sub Weapon: Numbing Razor Whip - Whips are infused with Dieffenbachia ( [link] - [link] ) juices that causes numbing when it comes in contact with a cut.

[C]ombat Skills & Weaknesses:
Akai is NOT a fighter. Since she is so frail and weak, she tends to get injured more then others. Instead, she plays..

SUPPORT: She plays her flute to boost her comrades abilities or to 'debuff' her opponents. However, she can't play for long. Her whip plays into a role of defense, where she will try to numb her opponent to get away or to by time. Her black wolf (Kuro) will do the fighting while her white wolf (Shiro) protects her.

Kuro:
Akai's fighter. He is very fast and stealthy. He uses his razor sharp claws and fangs to attack. He has very weak defense, so he tries not to get hit. He tries to confuse the enemy by running around them in circles then going in for the kill or sneaking behind them for a sneak attack.

Shiro:
Akai's bodyguard. She has very high defense but is very slow and weak to magic. She stays by Akai's side at all times.

TLDR:
Akai:
+ Able to 'buff' her comrades in combat
+ Able to 'debuff' her opponents
+ Able to numb her opponents for a short amount of time with her whip
- Very low defense and stamina - Can't take too many hits and tires easily
- Can't play her flute for long, needs to take breaks in between before she can start again.
- Relies on others for combat (her wolves or other team mates)

Akai:
Since Akai is very frail and is pure support, she has very low stamina, defense, and attack. She makes up for it with high dexterity and luck, which help her songs last longer (even if she plays the song for a short amount of time), and hit her enemies with 'debuffs' (with her songs or whip) more successfully.

Kuro:
Kuro's attacks are based purely on his speed and dexterity. Being quick with very accurate attacks (such as weak points) make up for his very low defense and low attack. Being quick makes his small attacks add up over time.

Shiro:
Since Shiro is Akai's bodyguard, she has very high defense when it some to melee and ranged attacks. Her speed is very low, so she must stick with Akai at all times in order to protect her to the fullest.

[S]pecial Skills:
Akai:
She has songs for each class, but can only 'buff' one of them at a time for a certain amount of time then must rest before she can play another song. She also has songs that are aimed at enemies. However, they only have an effect when her songs can be heard. Here are some examples:
*Mage's Ballad: Helps mages in the Thaumaturge class focus on their spells for higher damage.
*Lullaby: If successful, will cause the enemy to slowly drift to sleep for a period of time.
*Night's Dirge: Slows down an enemy with a slow, sad song.

Kuro:
*Kuro's Rage: Temporary boosts Kuro's speed and accuracy.

Shiro:
*Shiro's Blessing: Temporary boots Shiro's defense against melee and ranged attacks.

[B]ad habits:
Akai:
- Usually ignores humans... Pays attention to animals.
- She often lets her wolves do the talking... and just nod in agreement. (If you can't understand 'animal talk', then it just makes her look like she's ignoring you while her wolfs bark at you)
- Wonders off... A lot. Even if someone is talking to her.
- Often says "Eto..." or "Ano..." when talking. Will sometimes start talking in Japanese or Korean but then will correct herself.

Kuro:
- Barks at people when they come near Akai.
- Usually takes control.
- Will nip at people if they try to pet him.

Shiro:
- Agrees with everything/anyone.
- Even if she hates/disagrees on something, she will never say.

[P]ersonality:
Akai:
* Kind and Gentle - Mostly towards animals
* Shy - Stumbles when talking most of the time
* Quiet - Whispers instead of talking, or just nods or shakes her head.
* Twinkle Toes - Can sneak up on people very easily

Kuro:

*Stubborn - It's his way or no way!
*Loud-Mouth - He tends to not stop barking if you get him riled up.
* Overprotective - He's VERY overprotective when it comes to Akai, just like a real father would be with his pup/daughter.

*Happy/Joyful - Never lets anything get her down.
*Helpful - Always has helpful advice and loves to help people.

[S]tory: (IT'S LONG SORRY D: )
Akai was born into a semi-high class family in Japan, with a Japanese father, a Korean mother, and an older brother. With beautiful crimson hair like her brother's and lovely cerulean blue eyes like the ocean, Akai's parents thought she was special, seeing has she didn't have black or white hair like her father and mother. Although very weak and sickly, she was loved and taken care of like a princess.

At age 2, Akai was walking and talking much earlier then expected. Her parents were amazed when, one day, she picked up her mother's flute and started to play a wonderful song. Her song gave her parents a feeling of strength and bliss, that when she stopped playing and the feeling slowly went away, they knew she had a wonderful gift. Her parents were very proud.

Akai's older brother was always be her side. He loved her, but not as a sister. The more he was around her, the more he didn't want to share her. When alone, he started to develop skills in the dark arts, along side with his fire magic. He was powerful, and often feared, even by his parents. No one dared to touch or talk to Akai when he was with her.

At Age 4, Akai's father got a job offer in the states and decided to move there (or where ever Clockwork Circus is at the time ). While settling in took some time, Akai loved her new home that was close to the woods, and loved to see the animals. Akai's flute skills have improved to a professional level over the few months, and would often spend time in woods. The animals loved her, and would gather around her when she played her flute. Her brother however, grew darker, more powerful, that he began to hang around Akai less, and started to be alone in his room more.

One day, Akai could see smoke coming from the direction of her house while in the woods. Worried, Akai rushed as fast as she could to her house, only to find it ablaze. Shocked, Akai ran into the house to see if everyone was alright, only to find her brother, unharmed, standing over their dead parent's bodies. Horrified, Akai began to tremble at the sight and clinged to her mother's flute, and ran when her brother turned towards her, smiling. She fled to the woods, hoping to never be found. The cheerful, happy girl was now lost forever.

Several weeks later, two wolves found Akai's cold body in the middle of the woods. The black wolf wanted to eat her, while the white wolf wanted to see if she was alright. When they got close to Akai, barking at each other, she woke up and looked at them. Weakly, she called out "Otousan... Okaasan...?" while reaching out to them. The two wolves looked at her and barked "No, we're not. Can you even understand me?" and Akai nodded. Shocked, the two wolves stared at her, wondering how on Earth did she understand. After some thought, they decided to take Akai with them and raise her as their own.

Years pasted, and Akai can no longer remember her family. All she can remember is being with her two wolves, which she has named Kuro and Shiro. Because of this, she has turned into a very shy girl when it comes to humans, but not so much towards animals. Becoming a wanderer, Akai traveled place to place with them, playing her flute where ever she went. One day, she stumbled onto the circus grounds of Clockwork Circus, and was amazed. It felt like home, and she wandered into the circus tent only to find...

* She can talk and understand animals.
* Akai is part Japanese and part Korean. She is comfortable in her kimono the most.
* Can sleep all day if not awaken.
* Excellent cook. She can make pretty much anything, even the sour food/treats she hates so much.
* Has many different kinds of kimonos in her closet. Her favorite one is the Cherry Blossom kimono in the picture.
* The flute Akai has once belong to her human mother.
* Akai treats Kuro and Shiro as her parents.
* Calls Kuro and Shiro her roses... "My black and white roses..." or "Kuroibara... Shiroibara..." Or just Mother and Father.
